The BibleMaven Library Recommendations:

Being a BibleMaven means knowing how to understand, apply, and study the Bible. The following books are key reading for all Bible teachers. There are many others, and some very good, but none that I have found so short, to the point, and from such reputable people. Read these first and begin to build your BibleMaven library.

Knowing Scripture by R.C. Sproul (2nd edition, 2009, Intervarsity Press)

How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth by Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart (3rd edition, 2003, Zondervan). (available on Logos)

How to Study Your Bible: The Lasting Rewards of the Inductive Method by Kay Arthur (1994, Harvest House Publishers)
